“The Military Guide” is a non-profit project. All of the royalties are donated to military charities chosen by the book’s contributors.
I’m not making a penny out of it. (I’m financially independent!) I deposit the royalty payments into our charitable gift fund, and from there I send the grants to the charities. I’ll update the numbers on the blog. Impact Publications sends the checks in January and July, so look for updates near the end of those months.

In honor of the contributors to the book “The Military Guide to Financial Independence and Retirement”.
Our first two donations were made in January 2012 to the Wounded Warrior Project and Fisher House. If you’ve contributed your story or other advice to the book then you get a vote on what charities we support.
